The independence of Georgia was proclaimed by the National Parliment in Tbilisi on the 26th May 1918. No accurate time data so set for noon.

Georgia came under the protection of Germany until the first world war.

In 1922 Georgia surrendered it's independence by joining the Transcaucasian Soviet Socialist Republic.

Following a referendum on the 31st March 1991 Georgia proclaimed it's independence from the Soviet Union on the 9th April 1991 around noon local time.
